BEATWAVES sources can confirm that the host of Hitz FM’s morning show, Louis Sakyiamah, aka Lexis Bill, will host this year’s edition of the Miss Tourism Ghana pageant.
The pageant which was in its fourth year sought to promote Ghanaian culture and values as well as emphasize Ghana as an ultimate tourist destination.
According to the organizer of Miss Tourism Ghana pageant, Mrs. Delphine Brew-Hammond, Lexis Bill’s commitment to promoting Ghanaian tourism and arts on his radio show coupled with his great sense of humour and professionalism in MCing shows, made him the best choice for the fourth edition of the Miss Tourism Ghana Pageant.
Ten beautiful, intelligent and eloquent ladies will battle for the ultimate crown and title of ‘Club Miss Tourism Ghana 2012.’
Ms. Priscilla Asare, the current Queen was expected to hand over her crown to a new Queen after completing a year of her job as a Tourism Ambassador and helping promote youth participation in the country’s tourism development drive.
Minister of Tourism Ms. Akua Sena Dansua, and Zimbabwean High Commissioner to Ghana H.E. Mrs. Pavelyn Musaka were some of the dignitaries expected to grace the event which would be held at the National Theatre in Accra on Saturday, September 22, 2012.
