Ghanaians Blast Gaisah For Poor Show

Ignatius Gaisah

GHANA’S LONG jump star Ignatius Gaisah has suddenly become the number one enemy of Ghanaians residing in the United Kingdom (UK).

This resulted from Gaisah’s inability to lift aloft Ghana’s flag high at the Olympic Games in London.

Gaisah, prior to the games, was expected by Ghanaians to at least win a bronze medal for the country.

In an interview with DAILY GUIDE SPORTS in Kumasi a few weeks back, Gaisah said his target was to reach the semi finals of the London Olympics.

But the long jumper surprisingly lost steam when he was expected to deliver as he failed to book a place at the next stage of the competition.

The Ghanaian, after several jumps, failed woefully to qualify for the next round at the Olympics stadium last Friday.

Gaisah, after several attempts, bowed out with a jump of 7.79 meters, ending his hopes of winning glory.
