ARSENAL MIDFIELDER, Emmanuel Frimpong, says he has put his 6,000 Pounds fine behind him and is moving on.
The Ghanaian player, 20, suffered the fine after his offensive charge at a Tottenham fan on twitter, a social media.
The English FA decided to fine the hard-tackling midfielder because they deemed his tweet, which was in reference to faith, as offensive.
The FA said also that Frimpong’s tweet brought the football game into disrepute, hence cracking the whip on him to serve as a deterrent to other players.
But Frimpong, after the fine, tweeted back saying he did not realize that his comment was offensive.
The Ghanaian however said he could now go ahead with his life after what he termed “one expensive month”.
