The Ghanaian Entertainment front received a massive shot in the arm last Friday, 22nd June, 2012 at the plush RAYPORSH Hotel, Abelenkpe – Accra with the merger of the Nana Krobo Edusei-led Flamboyant Entertainment (UK) and George Psorakis, Contraband Music (UK) to be known as FLAMBOYANT ENTERTAINMENT GHANA.
The said partnership would focus among other things: Events Management, Movie Production & Distribution, Recording, Artiste Management, Modeling Agency, Music Production, Branding & Advertisement, Hotel & Leisure, Bars & Night Club Operations, Multi-Million Entertainment Complex and Lakeside Resort.
The partnership seeks to export Ghanaian, and for that matter, African Talents in the field of Music, Movies & Fashion to Europe and the world at large. In furtherance to this partnership, Flamboyant Entertainment Ghana presents a 48 hour MUSIC FESTIVAL dubbed “ONE GHANA,” scheduled for 21st – 22nd September, 2012 at the Trade Fair, La, Accra.
Highlights of this event include: Ghana vrs. Naija Live Show, Miss Flamboyant Beauty Pageant, Fashion Show, Talent Show for unsigned acts, Azonto dance battles, Cultural Troupes, Spinning Contests, House Bands, Magical Shows, Acrobatic & Juggling Displays, Kid’s Village, Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, etc.

FLAMPOYANT ENTERTAINMENT (GH):
Formed in the UK in 2004, its target was to project Africans in Europe and began organising elite shows and events aimed at promoting Ghana via Musical shows/Entertainment. A show held at the Silver Spoon included among seasoned artistes, Sonni Balli and Samini.
The Flamboyant Entertainment managed artistes like: The world famous Osibisa, Sneeze, Dead Dog, Illegal Immigrants, Africa Nile and Baby Gee, UK.
Club promotions include: Thirsty Thursday @ The Silver Spoon, UK, Designer Nite @ the Zenith Club, UK, Easy Nite, Fridays @ Mon Lighting Club, UK, Private Parties, Fashion Shows, Beauty Pageants, Hip Hop/R&B Music Shows and Super Fly and group.
CONTRABAND MUSIC PROMOTION LTD (UK):
Was formed in the UK in 1977 at the Observatory Gardens, Kensington, London, W8. It has managed a lot of bands and artistes. Currently it manages the following: P.J. Proby, Killerhertz, Shag Nasty, Joe Public, The Motivators, Arthurs, Dilemma, The Feelers, Martin Island, Panda Division, The Name, Lighting Raiders, etc.
Contraband Music promotes the following: Ginger Baker’s Energy ban d, The Lambrettos, Purple Hearts, The Damned, Human League, P.J. Proby, UK Subs, Pink Faries, Rory Gallager, Thin Lizzy, etc.
It also organized High Society Balls, Fashion Shows & University Gigs. It also has on a Musician on Ghana Label, Sorakis (GH), the hottest 18 year old singing sensation who is about to release her debut single titled, “NO PAIN NO GAIN” on it.
It is yet to churn out its premier movie, “HELL BOUND”, starring Kofi Adjorlolo, Gifty Temeng, introducing Barbara Psorakis as Veron.
