Demarco and Samini
Jamaican dancehall star Demarco put up a spirited performance at his much-anticipated Ghana concert, when he stunned Ghanaians with a mix of his music, covers and dances.
Coming right on the heels of exciting and energetic performances from host Samini, the Jamaican did his best to keep the energy up through several performances till he performed his hit song, ‘I Love My Life’.
There were also exciting live band performances from Samini and Kwabena Kwabena, as well as a comeback performance from the iconic Rex Omar. Also on the bill were Eazzy, Asem, Tinny, Kaaki, Jupita, Nsemkwa and others.
The event, which was originally scheduled for July 1, had to be postponed to July 7 due to technical issues. The concert was also used to launch Leadership for Conservation in Africa’s (LCA) ‘Green’ campaign to save the earth from environmental degradation.
