Ghana’s untouchable Disc Jockey, DJ Mensa, is famed for his great mixes on the turntables at both at outdoor and indoor shows.
Last Saturday, at the Ghana Meets Naija concert, Mensa reportedly put up one of his best performances.
Indeed he did not only prove to be one of Ghana’s finest DJs, but also has an untouchable style which has been accepted by his fans over the years.
After the show, contrary reports created the impression that Mensa was not on top of his game, as compared to Naeto C’s official disc jockey, DJ Neptune.
However, fans who spoke with BEATWAVES had a different opinion. They said DJ Mensa was just as phenomenal as DJ Neptune, an indication both DJs were on top of their game.
“Both Mensa and Neptune run the show, you know what I mean. I like the way they both did their thing. They have different styles. Definitely you either like both styles or you stick to one style. For me I saw Mensa over the years and I think he was awesome at Ghana meets Naija. For Neptune it was my first and he also impressed me,” a patron of the Ghana Meets Naija show said.
“It is not true that Neptune outshined Mensa. We were even discussing them yesterday. I was at the show, and I can tell you that Neptune didn’t outshine Mensa. Mensa did very well,” Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), MC on the night noted.
Mensa left Ghana immediately after the Saturday show. He touched down in the United States of America on Sunday, where he joined BET award winner, Sarkodie.
He is Sarkodie’s official DJ and together they would be touring Canada for a few parties.
