The Mayor of Accra, Dr. Alfred Oko Vanderpuije, has lost his wife Mrs. Vanderpuije.
This was confirmed to Citifmonline.com by the mayor himself who said his wife’s demise was after the burial of her brother on Friday.
The late wife of the Accra Mayor had just undergone a surgery and was recuperating before her death.
The mayor however indicated that it was possible his wife might have died as a result of the shock of losing her brother.
The couple was blessed with two children.
