As part of activities to mark this year’s soccer fiesta which takes place in Kumasi on Sunday, the organizers of the event, Gold Star Consult, have announced that there will be a road show.
The road show with the celebrities will make major stops at some selected places including Koforidua, Nkawkaw, Konongo and Ejisu.
The road show, according to the organizers, was a major part of the two-day event as the celebrities would get the opportunity to interact with their fans in these locations.
Some of the big names expected to grace the soccer fiesta include Anton Ferdinand of Queens Park Rangers, Emmanuel Adebayor of Tottenham, Stephane Sessegnon of Sunderland, legendary Liberian star George Oppong Weah, among others.
They will join Black Star players Stephen Appiah, Asamoah Gyan, Baffour Gyan, John Pantsil, Sulley Muntari, John Mensah and a host of others for the event.
The fiesta will, however, not only be about footballers as some of the country’s musicians, actors and media personalities such as Kojo Antwi , Daddy Lumba, Amakye Dede, Kwasey Pee, Funny Face, Castro, Samini, Kwabena Kwabena would be there.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium Kumasi on Sunday, June 24.
