Airtel Ghana has now slashed the prices of its modems from GH¢60 to GH¢49 with a whooping 5GB bonus data bundle. Airtel Ghana’s offer beats off the competition with the 5GB bonus data bundle.
The Head of Data at Airtel Ghana, Ato Micah, said the latest package for Airtel subscribers was targeted at all classes of data users.
“The mantra that drives our data service is ‘a bundle for every need’ and we have realized that we need to encourage a lot more of both our subscribers and would-be subscribers to see more than a few reasons why they should continue to stick with us, and why they should join Airtel,” Mr. Micah said.
He added “our focus is on our end user; that is why we keep asking ourselves how can we delight and enrich the lives of internet users with our service offerings, and we know that with our 3.75G service and continuous expansion of our network, the subscribers’ experience can only get better,” he said.
The Head of Corporate Communications and External Affairs of Airtel Ghana, Donald Gwira explained that they expect data usage to continue to increase on the network as a result of the range of affordable offers being launched by Airtel.
“If you look at the current technological growth around us, then what we see is a corresponding increase with data use. Our working class and the thousands of students we have in this country now find data an inseparable part of their lives so Airtel has positioned itself to offer these classes of people and indeed many others who use data for various reasons the opportunity to have smart options available for them,” Mr. Gwira said.
