Ghana’s music industry is about to witness another sensational and inspiring hiplife music star, Joe Morr, who is yet to release his maiden album titled ‘Me Launching,’ very soon.
For over a decade, Joe Morr, who has been seriously working behind closed doors on his 10-track album, is set to make his presence felt on the music scene.
When asked why it had taken him so long to come out with his album, Joe Morr said, “I don’t believe in coming out with just any album, but good songs that will make a dent on the minds of music buyers in Ghana and beyond”.
The album has been equipped with 10 inspirational, educative and soul-soothing songs composed by Joe Morr. The rhythms and modulations in some of the songs could easily pass for a foreign album.
Most of the songs on the album are mid-tempo with funky beats; the instrumentation as well as the backing vocalists make the songs a unique one for public consumption.
Talk of lyrics, arrangements, instrumentation and sound quality, and the album is second to none.
What is touching about the title track, ‘Me Launching’, is the sound quality, which could be attributed to the state-of-the-art equipment used in recording it.
Although the album is his maiden one, Joe Morr expects it to do better on the market than others because all the songs are unique, enjoyable and educative.
He is optimistic that his style of play coupled with the fact that most of his songs are fussed with good hiphop beats, hiplife and traditional rhythms, would take him places.
